2012 Gateway Field Hockey Classic

  • 2012 marks the 15th year of the Gateway Classic (the largest girls varsity high school tournament in the country with 48 teams from St Louis and other parts of the country).
  •  The Gateway Classic is a tournament with 12 pool winners.
  • The tournament consists of 48 teams (24 from St. Louis and 24 out-of-town teams) with pools consisting of 4 teams per pool (2 from St. Louis and 2 from out-of-town).
  • The classic is played at the Anheuser Busch Sports Centre on their two astroturf fields. The complex also has lights, concessions, and spectator stands.
  • A non-refundable deposit of $150 will be required by April 1 to hold a spot. We can hold a personal check until your school check can be processed.  The balance will be due no later then August 1.  It is MANDATORY that full payment be received prior to the start of the tournament in order for a team to compete.
