  • Member of the 1979 Southwest Missouri State National Championship team, 5th All Time Scoring Leader and all time assist leader at Missouri State.
  • Over a twenty-six year field hockey career, Kelly has played, coached and officiated at the high school and collegiate level.
  • Coached at St. Louis University for 9 years (1982-1990) Record at St. Louis University 113-83-15, Coached 4 players in the St. Louis University Hall of Fame
  • Former Physical Education Teacher - 25 years in St. Louis
  • Invited by Pam Hixon (former national coach) to identify top high school players in the U.S. and coach at the College Connection Camp this summer. Coached College Connection past six summers.
  • 322-114-33 coaching record in high school and college (26 years)
  • 1999-2001 and 2005 & 2006 NFHCA High School All American Committee, and High School Coach Of The Year Committee.
  • 10th year as Lafayette field hockey coach in the Rockwood School District, St. Louis, MO.  10 year record of 175-48-13.  Coached 12 players from Lafayette who have continued on to college, including both daughters who attend Indiana University.
  • Director of Team Gateway Elite Teams and Gateway Club programs that participate in the USFHA National Field Hockey Festival (14 years) and the AAU Spring Disney Classic (4 years).
  • Inducted into the Southwest Missouri State Athletic Hall of Fame, February 19, 2000.
  • 2005 Zonta International Women's Leadership Award of greater St. Louis
  • Enshrined into the 300 Victory Club from the NFHCA in Philadelphia in January, 2006 (Picture above-right)
